It's All Grace

Amazing things can happen when you allow the Lord to work in your life.

Wasn’t It Smart of God To:

Make a single strand of DNA into an information storage unit that is a thousand times thinner than a strand of hair yet capable of holding enough information to fill a stack of books that would stretch from the earth to the moon 500 times!

Design us to sing when we’re happy and cry when we’re sad, and at other times, to cry when we’re happy and sing when we’re sad.

Not allow wisdom to be purchasable.  Otherwise only the wealthiest of us would be wise.

Make dirt and then create man from it so that whether we’re unlearned or intelligent, poor or wealthy, we all know where we got our start.

Let us know that HIS “power is made perfect in weakness” since weakness is one thing we have plenty of.

This is my FB post today. I wanted to share since you aren’t there to read it.

Today God reminds me to deal with the bitterness I have toward Him, for not protecting me from my trials in childhood to now. As I have asked, I hear others ask the same. Why did I have to go through those things? Did I deserve that? Doesn’t God love me? So many times I thought God should have protected me or shielded me from the abuse and shame that led to sad choices, or even the complications of “real life”. He showed me He didn’t protect Jesus either. Yet, we know He loved Jesus so very much! Jesus was His only begotten Son and He sent Jesus to live and be crucified to become a sacrifice for us.

Wow! I am not sure I ever thought of it from that perspective. It is a battle to lay my bitterness aside and trust that God allows what is necessary. In your life as well, God allows trials, tragedy and triumphs! Jesus wasn’t liked by all, had few friends, travelled by foot, endured the temptations and even the torture of the Cross. Whether it is your job, your life choices, your marriage, your parents or your parenting… The same hope, strength, courage, wisdom, love, faith, and JOY is there as it was for Jesus … If you will just believe and keep singing! Smile, for this too shall pass and your path be made straight! Love is alive and is with you always!

    Much love, Deborah
