It's All Grace

Amazing things can happen when you allow the Lord to work in your life.

What’s In Your Closet?

Something to ponder: If we think our past won’t creep up into our present lives and multiply, just set and watch. Just because we’ve covered our sin and not dealt with it, doesn’t mean it’s gone. Children WILL WEAR what’s in their parents closet!

Walking With A Limp?

As I left my house this morning in somewhat of a hurried slumber, I realized a few minutes later after putting on my shoes, that something felt significantly different.  I looked down to discover I had 2 different shoes on my feet!  They were both grayish in color.  One with light pink trim & one with light turquoise trim, yet both shoes were mostly gray.  What grabbed my attention, was one had a much thicker insole, making my gait display an obvious limp!  This reminded me of a story in Genesis 32 : 24-30

Sometimes God turns a strength into a weakness in order to use us even more.  Jacob was a manipulator who spent his life scheming & then running from the consequences.  One night he  wrestled with God & said, “I’m not letting go until You bless me.”  God said, “Alright.” & then He grabbed Jacob’s thigh & dislocated his hip.

What is the significance of that?  God touched Jacob’s strength – as the thigh muscle is the strongest in the body, & turned it into  a weakness.  From that day forward, Jacob walked with a limp & he could never run away again!  It forced him to lean on God whether he wanted to or not.
